Perceived organizational support and retention : the mediating role of psychological empowerment

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between perceived organizational support and retention when psychological empowerment is a mediating variable to nurse at the RST dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang. The study population was all nurse in inpatient at the RST dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang, with a total of 108 people. In this study the sampling technique used cluster proportional random sampling where the number of samples was 85 people. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0. The result of study revealed the mediation effect of psychological empowerment between perceived organizational support and retention relationship was found to be significant to nurse at the RST dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang.
