Abstract
This study aims to determine (1) the Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance, (2) the Effect of Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at PT. Batanghari Barisan. This research was conducted on employees of PT. Batanghari Barisan Padang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research . the population in this study were employees of PT. Batanghari Barisan Padang with the sample technique in this study was probability sampling using cluster random sampling, with a total sample of 71 people. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, f test, t test and coefficient of determination. Where the analysis was carried out using SPSS 22 with alpha 0.05. The results showed that (1) Emotional Intelligence Has a Significant Effect on Employee Performance, (2) Organizational Commitment Has a Significant Effect on Employee Performance PT. Batanghari Barisan Padang.
