Effect of blockholder ownership and corporate social responsibility on debt maturity in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2019

Abstract

          This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of (1) Blockholder Ownership on Debt Maturity (2) Corporate Social Responsibility on Debt Maturity of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. In this study, three control variables were used, namely profitability, leverage and firm size. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. While the sample in this study was determined by purposive sampling method in order to obtain a total sample of 139 companies. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS statistics 26 program. The results of this study conclude that (1) Blockholder Ownership has a significant effect on Debt Maturity (2) Corporate Social Responsibility using GRI standards has a significant effect on Debt Maturity.
