The Strategic Management Studies ISSN 2963-3680 journal was established in 2022 with the goal of publishing original, innovative, and high-quality papers that advance conceptual and empirical knowledge and address practice in the field of strategic management and organization. By 'advance conceptual and empirical knowledge,' we mean that papers should aim to develop strong theoretical and/or empirical insights that increase our understanding of both organizational behavior and organizational behavior in their environments. |
Our ultimate acceptance criterion for a paper is that it significantly contributes to the development of coherent bodies of knowledge, such that an informed reader is likely to learn something new from it.
By 'address practice,' we mean that papers should help practitioners, or those who teach practitioners, gain a better understanding of management and organization.
We emphasize the importance of grounded practice lessons in rigorous theoretical and empirical research.
